When I job the system it works well, but when try to run a file it runs in the wrong direction. Vectric 11.5 desktop. Trying to understand.

From a previous post you mentioned a CK2 machine.
how much experience do you have with CNCs, grbl, and gcode ?
are you getting any Alarm codes or Errors ?
Please post the console results of $i, $$, $# and $g commands, the results will help us diagnose the problem.
Also, please post your gcode file as attachment.
