Hello All,
I just finished putting together my machine and I am having some issues. (I could not attach picture).
1 - the hole for the Z axis switch is too small. The thread doesnt go through and so the Switch is not fully activated. 2 - when I do it manually, any activation of the switch means I have to power cycle and disconnect from computer in order for machine to jog again. it simply stops all moving in any direction upon activation of any of the switches.
I have used UGS and Easel. I have basically no luck on UGS.. Easel has been more forgiving but I still cannot home the machine and I am having trouble understanding where to place material to start (I did manage to carve a duck yesterday...) but I could have done it in a minute on my laser..
Any help would be really appreciated.
Thank you.

rberrios,
I had the same installation issue with the z-axis switch. My solution was to flatten (just a bit) the split washer. That seemed to give me just enough room to install the switch.
The 'Universal Gcode Sender' application has the ability to soft-reset and unlock the machine, so you can avoid having to cycle the system.
I know this is much further in the future from when you posted, but I'm hoping that you and others can see some hope in getting the machines set up successfully
