I have taken some time off from the CNC and I am dusting her off and trying to comeup with a way to design a spoil board that can be held down with holes that align with the T-tracks and possibly have some t-nuts to screw clamps down with. Does anyone have any ideas how to start designing? do you have a design you would share? I am trying to figure out how to cut the spoilboard with the carve king instead of using another cnc to cut it.
Thanks for any input I can get from this forum.

When I had my CKv1 machine I had the plastic bed w T-tracks. I found that 1x6 board dimension seemed to fit horizontal right between the T-tracks. That worked well, I counter sunk screws through the boards into the bed to hold them in place. Originally I was using wood screws into the pine boards to secure my clamps, but as the boards became more perforated I made longer clamp bodies and used T-tracks. I also had a few cases of needing to remove a board or two for a job to regain the lost Z height from the 0.75" thick pine board. In retrospect, I think using 5mm luan ply as a spoils topper between the T-tracks works better. I use 5mm luan as a temp spoils topper on my Mega V now and it works great.
