I can't say how well that would attach. But looking at it I feel like it could be made to work.
I've got a design that's been sidelined a while that will eventually be a product we sell. They really aren't too hard to make if you want to take a swing at it. Looks like your design skills are coming along pretty well so you could knock one out in fusion probably if you didn't want to buy and worry about fitment.

Looks like a couple t-nuts could mount it to the Z linear rail of the CK?
