The guitar shape is about 2" high . . .piece of rainbow poplar. Hope to do some truss rod covers with customer names - but the letters on those have to be about 1/4" or less in height.

Nice work. I did the lettering on this cribbage board with a 1/32 bit. The letters are 3/8 high but could have gone smaller I believe.

Best bet will probably be a micro V-bit.

Just a tip here -- If you can't get the board exactly level or it is warped on the top, a full surface face off with the mill will allow you to mill VERY shallow and have a perfect depth across the whole thing.
Looks quite good on yours !
