Im in the waiting stage for my carve king. Im excited. While i wait i have been looking 4 programs for controls and cad/cam software. Is there any that do not need the internet to operate? I prefer free. might be willing to spend a little for the right product. Not looking for a subscription. I currently have a copy of bobcad cam it version 24 i think. Is it any good? Please let me know what u guus are using. Again my internet connection is far away i can run an ethernet cable if i have to but rather not.
Also is there any free art cam 3d type programs out there.
Thx guys.

Fusion requires internet to sync but that's about it. UGS (sender) doesn't need it.
Why not just design where internet is good (if you need it) and then go out to your machine to send it?
Process goes like this. 1. Design in whatever you want. 2. CAM in whatever you want. 3. Use CAMs post processor to export Gcode locally. 4. Walk to machine, plug in, fire up UGS. 5. Open Gcode file in UGS.
