Well...lol...supposed to get here today from the last time I checked (from above post)...BUT guess it still doesn't want to come home...lol. Can't check (email server down so I can't get the number)but FED EX just left and all I got were some casters I ordered off Ebay. Maybe Tomorrow I can set my peepers on it.

Looks like FedEx put it on the wrong truck early on. Its in RENSSELAER, NY now and they have it scheduled for tomorrow. I'm glad it's looking like it will work out. They did this to me once only I had several machines going to Canada in a two part shipment. They sent one to Texas and the other was waiting to cross the border. They insisted they needed to send the one stranded in Texas back to me until I finally got someone with some sense to understand they should just send it to where the other package was waiting.

Haha,
The SPSU, XE-DEF, and PUS are all wonky. I had a package, had a book in it so not a large package, sit in Denver for apparently two years once. It was shipped to me while I was deployed. The same squadron received the package 2 years after the deployment, in a different country! It had a 2007 stamp and then a 2009 stamp haha. Good times. I've heard and seen a few other instances like this too.
Glad it is working out. At least it will be well traveled and ready to settle down and make some cool parts! Aaron

Received my package today. It was a little beat up on it's extended sight seeing journey. There was a large hole on bottom corner and a large hole on top same corner (where I can see the wire belt containment thingy). Will have to open it to see if anything is missing or damaged. FedEx said it was on the truck yesterday but it wasn't on the paperwork so he didn't know about it until there was 1 package left and he was far away by then (I live in the boonies). I will have to check it later as I'm in the middle of a job now and trying to beat the rain. But it's here.

i had same problem with corners off box. Might not be a bad idea derek to strengthen the corners a little bit maybe doubling up corners with cardboard as these delivery drivers dont really give a crap whats in the box. ive done it before where i have sent packages to people and even put fragile on boxes but doesn't seem top make a difference with these people

Ya. We actually use more reinforcement now than we used to. We haven't had shipping damage in a little while. Judging from the pics of this box though there wasn't a lot that was going to save this one. They mangled it pretty well.

When I was a field tech I dreaded a FedEx shipment. They were never on time. Seemed like every time I called them about a late package they would say it was because of bad weather at their main hub in Nashville. One time I was ready for them. I checked the weather in Nashville for the last 48 hours, nothing. Sure enough I called them and they told me me it was delayed due to bad weather in Nashville.

I hate FedEx. I'm always getting email updates from them talking about weather interruptions. I'm looking at national weather and not a thing going on. They must have their own weather patterns undetectable by doplar.

Lol. That's hilarious about the weather. I recently had an international package held up and it just kept bouncing from country to country and never seemed to make any meaningful progress. Finally got them the break the endless cycle.
On all seriousness though, I mostly ship FedEx because they seem to have faster service than the others.
