Dust

Planning to be cutting aluminum and brass sheets (.025" thick), some corian engraving, and probably some v-groove engraving for some small wood/plastic signs. Is the King something that could be placed in my carpeted engraving room? Or will it just create too much of a mess. The reason asking is I don't think I want to keep anything with computer chips out in the shop during the winter [It get's to -22F here in the mtns (NO not windchill) at times and I am not in the shop 24/7 nor do I keep it heated at all times]. Since I have not seen the left-over mess after a job - I'm not sure what to expect. Any insight you may offer will be helpful so I can determine where I want to keep this machine.
thanks

It will make quite the mess without any form of dust collection. I wish I had a picture of what my garage looks like after I do a job I'm recording for YouTube. (No dust collection so you can see what's happening.) There is crap everywhere lol. Especially if you are moving a bunch of material. The 3D storm trooper part I just did was milled from 1" seaboard. The thinnest part of the shield was 1/8 thick. I removed a bunch of material. Looked like black snow all over the place. Mostly around the machine. I had a fan running at the other side of the shop pointed towards the machine and there were plastic chips blown all over. My suggestion is to maybe build a vented enclosure with some decent air circulation if containment is a priority. There are a few folks on here that have done some enclosures for that reason.
