Well I seem to have somehow landed in a pickle...my brother in law has been working on a custom cedar front porch for a client, and contacted me yesterday about a flower engraving for the top corner block trim. I told him yeah my machine is more than capable, and he says "can you have them done tomorrow?" 🤤🤤 So here I sit, with no idea where to start. I have aspire and fusion360, but no design to work with other than black and white pictures from google...the images are just a sample, he just asked for a flower about 4" in diameter to be carved into a 7x7 square. Can anyone save the day?? Thanks in advance for any tips or guidance guys!

I don't know about Aspire, but in order to import into fusion you'll have to have either a step, stl, or mesh file. You can build a 3D model using fusion from the ground up in the sculpt environment. It's time consuming but doable. Probably not in one day though lol.

I have a few stl files with flowers but would need to look on computer but it will be the morning before I can check. Is it something similar to pictures posted that your looking for. Can't be 100% but will check

What did you end up using to get em done?

I ended up buying a 3d model from designandmake.com and used fusion to generate toolpaths. All in all he was blown away with how they turned out and I gained a little more confidence in running my machine effectively! It definitely fueled me with some new ideas and new fire to make more stuff!

And the pieces installed! Its an awesome feeling knowing that you made something like that and seeing the happiness it brings people when you deliver it!

Very nicely done! Those pieces will adorn that home for decades. Something to be proud of for sure.
