Moving both Y steppers in tandem

I'm sure you guys have a quick solution for this. Only one of my Y steppers is moving. I verified I'm cloning the y axis to the A port on the shield with a pair of jumpers. I also tried the spare driver. Have to be missing something obvious.

But, I am at the step where UGS talked to the machine and I heard the king come to life. What an amazing feeling.

Ok, never mind, I think...

I powered down, moved the couplers several revolutions by hand, powered back up and now they work in tandem.

Could that mean a binding issue of some sort?

That may have been. If the gantry was cocked it's possible I suppose.

Not having the CK I can't say for sure. However, from a mechanical standpoint it is probably binding. I'd unplug the steppers and move the gantry it's full range of motion and note any binding along the axis.
