What are people using to tighten the back lash locking nuts I have loads off little wrenches and sockets that would fit the nuts but it's very tight for space . It's just very frustrating especially the x and z. I have tried little needle nose pliers also but just can't seem to get it locked enough. They just seems like they keep loosening because I can't get the right torque on them

Try to back the set screw off a turn or so with an allen wrench then spin the jam nut up against the body. Try to get a partial turn on it with some needle nose if that's all you can get on it, then tighten the set screw back. I've not had any back off doing this.

just tried that on the z and worked perfect (tiny wrench held vertical-not much of a grip on nut - but enough). seems z is moving a little easier as well. forgot about them nuts being just spun on!
