So just FYI, don't stick your action camera in front of a grinder. Little molten shards aren't good for the lens. And can I find a replacement? Nope.  |

Ouch. I feel your pain on this, kind of. I have a midyear C3 vette that had steel floorboards. They were rusted (other years had fiberglass, lucky them). I cut them out with an angle grinder. I did not protect the glass in the car and you can feel a sand-papery texture to the windshield because of it. Oops.
