If I could put it together - so can you! Testing the CK yesterday. Don't have my cam/g-code making s/w yet (trial version of vcarve pro-$700 have win XP), so found this circle online in g-code. Tried it with a pen - it worked. Threw a 1/4" vbit in the router for a test cut and voilla... I know it's not much...lol - but my vcarve trial does not output g-code till ya buy. Creating my sign/engraving vector designs in Corel. Importing them into Vcarve pro to define the tool paths and when I buy- produce the gcode. they have a grbl pre-processor so all s/b good. It's a pretty easy program for 2d if you know vector graphics. I think my biggest problem will be on the choice of bit I use. Gonna have to see what the results are with my own peepers. Descriptions help but I think I will need to see the results to be sure it is what I am looking for. Precisebits.com will be able to help me I'm sure-he is full of info and knows his stuff. Just got the test download today - so gonna give that a go a little later to see what happens. Then it's time to dig deep for the s/w (ouch). Do ya think I should hang my circle plaque like some display their first "sale" dollar...lol? Now I know what a happy cnc face looks and feels like. So glad I didn't buy any of those chinese ones. My friend has one for months - just sits there not working.
