Just started building my Carve King and would really love to have the time to do a build video. Plus there are allready a few really good ones out there.
So I thought I'd make a post with a few things I learned during the assembly process.
V wheel assembly The v wheels came pretty clean, but just to be sure there would be no problems seating the bearings...I wiped the ID's with a paper towel and visually inspected each one for any debris that might prevent the bearing from seating fully.
Pressing each bearing in by hand can be tiresome. You gotta press 44 of them. And pushing on the races(center spinny part section) of the bearings is not good for the bearings.
I found a quarter drive 1/2 socket with a flat section on quarter drive side that lined up nicely with the OD of the bearings. I first seated the bearings in the groove wheels by hand, then placed the v wheel on my work bench with the bearing on top. Placed the 1/2 socket on top of the bearing with the flat section of the quarter drive side down touching the bearing. Then lightly taped/ seated the bearing with a rubber mallet. You'll know the bearing is fully seated when the sound changes while tapping it in.
Then after inserting the m5x30 bolts and washers assembly line style like the instructions say, dropping a bearing on, dropping the 1/2 socket on top and gently tapping the bearing...the rest went like butter.
Gotta stop and get ready to go to work now. But will update more soon.

Thanks for sharing your experiences. I personally like to lay a bearing on the table, then set a v wheel on top of it, then just push down. Keeps the ol' thumbs from getting warn out. Then inserting a bolt, the washer, and using the socket method you use is pretty good for the second bearing.
