Ok guys I am having some problems. My brother decided to accidentally hit soft reset instead of reset zero in UGS. Now I am tying to do a simple circle that is 3/16" deep and a diameter of 1.25". I draw it out in aspire and it all looks good. I save the gcode and it is going to do it in two passes with a .25 end mill. The first thing that the mill does is plunge about 3/8" deep just on the first pass. I looked thought the setting by hitting the $ sign and everything looks right. I also just do a test on x y z using the jog in UGS with anywhere from 1" to 6" and it seems to respond correctly in all directions and in the correct distance. Is there something else that I need to be looking at to get back to where I was. Also the x and y on my circle seem to be correct, just the z is way too deep.

This probably isn't it, but in Aspire are you sure your model position set to be the top of your stock in the setup? I recently did something and forgot to set that (it was set to the bottom) and it cut way to deep. did the job fine, just deeper than I expected/wanted it to.
