Quick background: Shop computer is running xp so I had to settle for UGS Classic as Platform wouldn't install without a newer version of Windows.
Actual question: I see on the resources page many unfamiliar options such as Arduino IDE and Grbl Motion Control. Are these needed files to run the M3 on the shop computer, or are they replacement options for UGS and/or other code senders?
Thanks for helping a total CNC newbie.

Hi,
You don't need 'Arduino IDE' and 'Grbl Motion Control' files to run the M3. The 'Arduino IDE' is the development environment to develop firmware for the Arduino and 'Grbl Motion Control' is the firmware that is running into the Arduino and that give life to your M3 when sending GCode with UGS.
