This was something for a friend. I guess it's a paperweight or desk momento? I dunno. Gotta start somewhere. It's just a cut off section of 2x4 about 6 inches long. Red dye with shellac and black stain. Probably do a few more coats of a clear coat and call it good.

That's a good looking piece. Nice work.
If it were the Georgia Bulldogs piece it would be a GREAT looking piece.

Can you tell me what type of endmill you used? Also, what software are you using to create the file? Looks great!

Jason, Can you tell me what type of endmill you used? Also, what software are you using to create the file? Looks great! Mark I used a 60 deg V-bit, 1/4" diameter. I put the whole thing together in Inkscape to edit and convert the cut areas to black. Then converted it to a BMP file (with Paint), Then loaded it into F-Engrave. F-Engrave is suppose to be able to use a PNG file but I couldn't get it to work. I had to convert it to a BMP file for F-Engrave to like it.
