Hi,
Think I fried the uno board. Picked up a r3 replacement locally. I'm a total novice and have no idea how to flash the board. I see where to down, load Xloader and grlb-master. Now what do I do? Really need a step by step so I don't fry the new board.
Thanks for the help Bennett

Thanks for that link but again how do I get it on the board? Any good instructions or videos. Totally lost.

Use the hex file for the Carve King and follow the instructions to load the file using Xloader utility found on the MillRight resource page: millrightcnc.com/resources/Let me know if you have any questions.

One reason I bought this cnc was because of the support everyone said was available. Knowing the help is readily available, helps keep the frustration level down. After all, I got involved with this simply for the fun of it.

Just put a new uno board on. I believe I flashed the new one correctly and it seems to be connected to the computer properly. It is being recognized in the universal g code sender but none of the motors are responding. I noticed two rapidly flashing yellow lights on the uno board.
I had to replace e the uno board because I fried it. Could I have damaged the board with the stepper drives? And how can I check if I screwed that one up also.
Thanks

The motors should click in and have holding torque when you plug in the USB Arduino to the PC. If you don't have that you could have damaged the stepper drivers.

Hi, must have fried the drivers also. Switched out one with the spare and the motor did start clicking. What is the holding torque and how long should they click. When i replace the damaged drivers will all the motors go through the same clicking thing?
