Ok so I have this issue, but not with every project...weird i know. Anyhow, I Zero my bit, I did my G90 G0 Z5. When I press play in UGS sometimes it will go down to the surface and drag across my work piece, and other projects it will raise up and cut great. My question is what am I doing differently to make it drop down?
Now mind you I ma making my gcode in carbide Create. And I do get a error, as showed in a old post.

But when i get that error is will either drop or raise up just a tad then will click ok and it will run. But when it drops it will sometimes run across the surface and ruin the whole piece.
Here is the newest error code, but as soon as I click OK it cuts like normal, unless it happens to drop down instead of raising up.
I did just download the newest UGS today, I'm going to try that and see.
