Mine is in the mail, sweet!
I have completed the hardware build but is there any prep I can do with the electronics while I wait for the upgrade kit to show up? I plan on painting the enclosure epoxy black just wondering if there is anything I can get ready so that I'm up and running sooner.

You can go ahead and take the plug off the Z motor wires and get those ready to put through the drag chain but really, that's about it. You bring a thought to mind though. I sent these out assembled making work for those who wanna paint them. I'll have to ask before shipping if people want them assembled or apart.

Took only a few minutes to disassemble the box and now it's off to paint. Awesome. Glad it made it. Let me know what you think. I think the electronic package is great! Nice selection of components and everything is put together very well. Love how the main power wiring is all tiddy with the 2 leads for the board.

Love how the main power wiring is all tiddy with the 2 leads for the board. Thanks Mark. I'm glad you are happy with it. I put quite a bit of time going through different plugs, switches, and wiring options trying to find what worked and looked the best. Even the heat shrink crimps I used for the fan leads were a result of looking for the best option for the end user. I've got a bunch of rejects in my electronics bin now. Those crimped pins that go to the board were the last minute change I had told you about. It was really bothering me just having stripped wire lol.

The rail should mount on the back of the x axis extrusion in the top slot. The side with the two small holes to the right. Mine is a bit different because it's actually screwed into my rail, but will look like this.
