I mounted the speed control knob on top. Daggone know broke when I pried it off but they are easy enough to find locally. I have the board in there using one of the stand offs to hold it. The only thing is I have to watch to make sure the pause button doesn't ground out on the controller board. The only critique I have on the electronics upgrade is the leads to the UNO board wrestle with the on/ off switch but I'm going to revisit that later today. I'm gonna say my first test run should be later today It sounds like you're having a rough go of it. It's good that it's all working out.

Excellent idea about using the water bottle plastic. I was racking my brain last what I could use. I have attached a photo with the area circled. I mean it's nothing earth shattering but it is a little close. Attachments:

Aforww's been a bit wrapped up with stuff lately and hasn't been haunting the forum as much as usual the last couple weeks. Send him a private message and he'll get you the info on ordering one. It's an awesome upgrade cleans things up really well.

PM aforww. It's a product he makes. He's pretty busy in his life right now so he might not have any available for a bit.

Hi Jules. Aforww is a customer/mod who was making these. MillRight CNC gave a little bit of input in the design process and bought one of his units, but it's his project and he alone has been manufacturing them. He has had some private business come up that has pulled him away from the forum/community. I'm not sure if he will be back or not. Essentially, these aren't being produced because he was the one making them and he's gone.

Hey everyone. Sorry for the lack of communications. I've got everything in order and I'm back to the shop. I've got a run of boxes getting done right now. I was hoping to have all the milling done today but for some reason, UGS is hanging up in the exact the same spot on about every other run. I haven't figured it out yet but it's moving right along then it just stops, hangs for a second then carries on but in a different spot lol. It's not consistent though so I'm going to bet it has something to do with the computer or the board itself. I've got 6 milled out and will get the finishing touches on them over next couple of days. Again, apologize for the absence.

Ok so making some changes to the way I'm doing things with these boxes to improve workflow and quality.
I'm considering changing my painting and pricing. My thought is offer an unpainted kit for $50.00. This would be just plain white ABS box and unpainted aluminum drag chain bar. Then a flat black enamel paint option at $60.00. The reason being, is to improve work flow and improve cost efficiency. The cost in time and money to do every box in the primer seems a waste. Someone might want just white ABS for less. Those that want to paint it themselves would also benefit from plain ABS so they can pick the appropriate primer to their color coat type (oil/water based. Then for those that don't care but want the flat black will get an actual flat black enamel VS a weak primer that is not resilient at all. Opinions welcome.
