On a side note, have you seen AvE YouTube channel? You remind me of that guy in this video lol.

I am a Patron of AvE. That 2 American Renmenbai gets me absolutely nothing but I like him anyway. I did a few videos a while back before discovering AvE that are similarly structured. I even used to say "Welcome back to the shop". I had to stop that. When I'm in the shop doing something, the focus is the thing I'm doing and the intensity has to be in the voice to make the audience just as interested as I am.
I bought his pecker detector ruler on Etsy. What's shown in the video is definitely different from what you get for your $15.

It does feature the C Hair scale. I'll give it that. The electronics portions are in different spots. It's up to you.

Well, the last of the pending boxes went out today. And I'm done lol. No more boxes for this guy. I just don't have the time to keep up. On that note though, if anyone needs some on/off switches, plugs, hole plugs, or momentary buttons, I have a ton of them to get rid of lol.
Oh, and about 50ft of 7mm drag chain lol.

Does that mean you're not doing these boxes at all any more? I was just going to order one... Can I buy a parts kit (without the machining and soldering) so I that can build one myself without having to hunt up the pieces (especially the drag chain)?

However, none of the soldering is done.

Apparently I am really late to the game, as usual when it comes to cool things. So, since these aren't available any longer, are there other alternatives out in the world anywhere? I found a Thingiverse enclosure, but it doesn't include the stop button, and I have NO idea how to wire such a beast. I have a Shark HD4, but wanted a smaller CNC so my nephew can get used to woodworking (and for smaller projects when my Shark is busy). He's a geeky shut-in, so I'm trying to coerce him out into the world with the mix of computers and tools that make CNC work so much fun. But I honestly want that enclosure and stop button - it makes me feel more comfortable where he is concerned. And yes, I could let him use my Shark, but no - that's MY playtoy, t'aint nobody but me gonna hurt it! I bought my M3 last year, but was in the middle of a massive remodel, so am only now getting around to putting it together (thank God for this forum, because I had some serious confusion in a couple areas!). I'm at the electronics section and having the board exposed and no stop button makes me nervous for the boy. I saw this upgrade kit referenced in the BGBS videos, and got all excited reading this thread, until I got to the end, and "The End". I looked all over the interwebs, but aside from the STL enclosure file, all I've seen are a couple homemade enclosures and no parts or instructions. Since I have my other CNC I can cut parts if I need to, but I also need a list of what to buy and how to connect buttons to the board. Sooooo, any ideas? It would be great if AFORWW offered the cut files and parts list with purchase links (hint-hint, nudge-nudge!) - I'd even be willing to pay for just those and not the prebuilt enclosure. But I'd be more happy to buy a completed enclosure kit! I couldn't interest the kid in the M3 build, but I might be able to sway him setting up an electronics enclosure since it has a computer board in it, and the stop feature just makes me feel better safety-wise, so any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks, all! inSohmniac

You can add a normally open momentary push button switch with one pin to feed hold and one to ground to generate a pause and another on the resume pin and ground. That’s what aforww was s wiring in, plus there is a pause icon on the UGS screen. A true e stop though would require cutting into some mains wires to break power to the motors and the router if you wanted to go that far. I’d look at just the pause and resume buttons though.
